CHIHO SASAKI

Chiho is a user experience design expert successfully leading teams and creating innovative human centered design concepts. In 2004, Chiho established in field design, a company that provides design thinking services.

Until the present, she has been offering UX design consulting based on ethnographic research over a wide area, including IT, consumer products, healthcare, nursing, community, mobility, environment, and urban planning fields both domestically and internationally. Her joint achievements include the grand design for Tokyo Midtown Hibiya and incubating Seafood Legacy Co., that accelerates business engagement toward seafood sustainability among Japanese retailers and organizations. Her company has been hosting summer interns from Stanford since 2018 to exchange learnings from different perspectives.

She is author of „The 1st step of product planning“ (Sekigakusha, joint authorship) and a part-time lecturer at Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music.

She also worked at IDEO and GK Graphics. She holds a master‘s degree from the Institute of Design, Illinois Institute of Technology.
