ROOTS Company

In San Francisco, I was involved in design projects that aimed to solve social issues. After returning to Japan I worked at a healthcare company as a planner and design strategist for medical devices. Since 2016, I have been living in an old thatched roof house in a rural part of Kyoto. Currently I run a company called ROOTS which is focused on enhancing local brand design and building local communities. We welcome students and experts from all over the world to join our projects to plan and operate sustainable programs. We collaborate with local industries to provide business opportunities for young people interested in taking on local challenges.
