To further develop design education, this resource collection contains contributions from 26 leading experts worldwide, as well as 75 practically applicable ideas and activities developed collaboratively by design educators in workshops. The content and suggestions aim to ensure that change is truly successful in everyday university life. They encourage educators to redesign their own teaching in small steps—and are available in various formats:

Impressions from the workshop events: How the content was created

All content was created as part of the Open Campus project entitled “Designing Design Education: Impulse for a New Curriculum”, a joint workshop series between the iF Design Foundation and Die Neue Sammlung between 2022 and 2025. Experts from the relevant fields, as well as a large number of design teachers from German and European design universities, participated and developed the content.
